For years, riots and political protests blocking streets and even airport runways have been commonplace in politics. Now, Americans are wondering what can be done about it and why it keeps happening.

It turns out many of these radical protests, which often devolve into violent riots, are well-funded and organized endeavors taken on by a very vocal and efficient political minority. It's no coincidence that they tend to happen in blue cities, where participants know they can get away with it.

Homeland security expert Kyle Shideler told KTRH that the reason we don't see violent riotous protests commonly here in Texas is because we have police and elected officials who are willing to stand up for the rule of law.

Shideler says the career organizers of the protesters understand that they need to operate primarily in left-wing areas to get away with their radical protests and to garner the media attention they need to pressure companies and politicians alike into giving them their way.
