Gen Z is beginning to enter the voting booth in larger numbers, but they identify less and less with either major political party. So what will that mean for the 2024 presidential election?

With Gen Z rejecting the mantle of Republican or Democrat, you have to wonder what they're looking for in a political candidate. Gabrielle Bosche with the Millennial Solution told KTRH, "They're really just saying, 'which candidate is going to give me the freedom to really be myself?'"

Bosche did say that Gen Z will likely gravitate more towards a third-party candidate like RFK Jr., and they could be a major asset to his campaign. She said, "It's not just the votes that these candidates would need to be successful. It's also the effort and the intention that it takes to get one of these third-party, or newer candidates elected."

Bosche says, however, there's no way to know for sure how things will play out until the election actually happens.
