Trump Campaign Wants Presidential Debates & Wants Them To Start Earlier

Former president Donald Trump continues to call out Joe Biden for a debate, "anytime, anyplace, and anywhere". Even the left leaning 'mainstream' media is putting on pressure for a debate, with all of the television and broadcast networks - including FOX, signing a letter calling for a debate.

But don't expect to see a Trump / Biden debate in the near future.

"I don't believe there will be any debates because they (Democrats) don't want to dignify the Trump candidacy, or the Republican party as a whole" said longtime political writer Jonathan Tobin, who is now the editor and chief with JNS.org.

Recently, we have heard Joe Biden popping off about debating Trump. Jonathan Tobin believes that Biden's ego would allow him to do it, but the DNC will not.

"I think this kind of gives a lie to their claim to be defending democracy" Tobin told KTRH, "Because everything they're doing is basically anti-democratic. That's the basic problem here, that's going to be the hold up."

The Commission on Presidential Debates actually has 3 presidential debates and one vice-president debate already scheduled, with the first one set for September 16th.
