Movie: Burn After Reading

Rating: Five Stars!
I decided after 13 days in a row of working in the newsroom, it was time to escape all things Ike. Sunday afternoon I caught the latest Coen brother flick, Burn After Reading, and I was pleasantly surprised...
The first 30 minutes of the movie started out a little depressing, but when Brad Pitt's character was introduced, the movie really came alive. Pitt's character, along with the other colorful actors who make up the Hardbodies gym staff, are absolutely hilarious as they try and blackmail an ex FBI analyst -- played by the angry and bitter John Malkovich. George Clooney's character is also quite interesting, as I have never seen him play such an unattractive character. The other stand-out actor in this movie was Frances McDormand, who plays the role of a middle-aged woman looking for love...and some plastic surgery.
Don't miss this movie if you like dark comedy. This is a clever and silly movie that will keep you guessing the entire time!
